SBR8SE is a heavy duty non percolating hose made of 100% Polyester yarn which is unaffected by mildew and retains its full strength when wet or dry.  This hose is lined with a lightweight extrusion of PVC/Nitrile and is exceptionally flexible and resistant to ageing and the effect of weather and ozone attack. This hose has been specifically designed as a heavy duty hose for use by Fire Brigades under the most demanding conditions. This hose is manufactured to comply with AS2792 Class “H”  with design emphasis given to durability, cost effective reliability and ease of handling.  

SBR8SE can be coated with a Duracoat coating to increase abrasion resistance. Duracoat is provided by a process which uses a synthetic polymer to encapsulate every fibre of the hose jacket.  The polymer is then heat fused and so becomes a permanent and integral part of the hose jacket.  Coloured pigments may be added to the polymer permitting hoses of various identifying colours to be specified and providing a permanent colour coding for the full life of the hose.Duracoat significantly extends the life of fire hose by increasing its resistance to damage caused by abrasion and contact with most common chemicals.When tested for abrasion resistance in accordance with Australian Standard 2792, hose with Duracoat will withstand 50%-70% more double strokes than the same hose without the advantage of duracoat, depending on the type and diameter of the hose tested.  

RECOMMENDED FOR: This hose has been designed as a heavy duty hose for professional fire fighters.  It   is  ideally suited to Industry.
